- If you have applied for permanent residency but have not been approved
All applicants who are not US citizens or US permanent residents at the time of application are considered international applicants. If you become a US citizen or permanent resident after you’ve applied to Alfred University, you may submit documentation of this change (a copy of your Certificate of Citizenship, 入籍证书, or Permanent Resident Card) to the Office of 招生 to update your citizenship status.

International students must submit original or certified copies of all secondary and post-secondary transcripts or records of grades to-date and showing proof of graduation. These must be prepared and authorized by the student's home institution and be accompanied by a certified English translation. 了解更多关于国际学生的要求.

At least one letter of recommendation from a school counselor or academic instructor is required. These can be uploaded to the 常见的应用程序lication or sent directly to our office.

A bank statement must be provided at the time the application is submitted. 没有资金证明的申请不能被审查. If a student has an external scholarship they must provide a letter of guarantee from the sponsor showing total yearly amount and scholarship duration (aka how many years the student will be receiving the scholarship). This form shows that a student or their financial sponsor is willing and able to cover all required educational costs and travel costs for the student to arrive to campus safely and successfully complete their degree. Please use this link to access the form or access from your application portal.

You must have a valid passport that shows it will be valid through the first year of a student's program. 例如, 如果你在2022年8月入学, the passport you provide must not expire until at least August 2023. If a student needs to defer for any reason they must provide an updated copy of passport if their passport expires prior to one-year from their new matriculation date.

The Department of Homeland Security requires Alfred University to verify that a student planning to study in the United States on a F-1 visa can provide financial evidence documenting sufficient funds for their student careers. 核实财政支持的证据, please submit the appropriate form below in order for the Committee on 招生 to make a decision on the application. You will receive a visa appointment date and must email the confirmation to your admissions counselor. If the date is booked beyond one-month prior to matriculation you will need to either request an emergency visa request or defer your admission to accommodate that date. - 激活您的AU电子邮件地址: All students have access to the University's computer network and receive an Alfred University email account. - Registering for Classes: Once you’ve completed the Financial Responsibility Agreement, the Center for Advising staff will build your class schedule. - Submit Required Transcripts AP/College Credit-If you've taken AP or IB courses or earned college credits, please request to have official score reports and transcripts sent to the Registrar's Office in order for courses to be evaluated for credit. First time college students also need to have a final high school transcript sent to the Registrar’s Office as soon as you graduate.
- 网上参观校园! There are several virtual open house events for each semester. Be sure to sign up for one of these events and you could qualify for a visit grant of $1000 that will be credited towards your tuition upon arrival.
